The Louisiana Ragin' Cajuns won't start league play for another week, but for a few teams, now is the time.

Two conference games highlight the action this week in the Sun Belt.  Here's a brief look at the games for this weekend.

Louisiana (+24) at Texas A&M - 11 a.m. (SEC Network)--The Cajuns have moved the football, but they haven't stopped anyone yet this season.  Look for A&M to use two QB's after losing Nate Starkel.

Coastal Carolina (-2) at UAB - 12 p.m. (Raycom Sports)--The Chants had the weekend off and will try to get their second straight win over an FBS school...but winning on the road is never easy.

* Appalachian State (-23) at Texas State - 6 p.m. (ESPN3)---The Mountaineers rolled last week, while the Bobcats got rolled in Colorado.  App is the favorite in the league and for them, it starts this weekend.

Arkansas Pine Bluff at Arkansas State - 6 p.m. (ESPN3)--Hurricane Irma gave the Red Wolves an unexpected week off and this will be A-State's home opener.  Should be a great crowd

Idaho (+20') at Western Michigan - 6 p.m. (ESPN3)--The Vandals got hammered at home last week against UNLV, a team they beat last year in Vegas.  Anomaly?  Or a harbinger?

Southern Miss at ULM (+6') - 6 p.m. (ESPN3)--Another team affected by Irma last week.  The Warhawks appear to have settled on a quarterback.  This should be a good game at Malone Stadium..and an opportunity game for ULM.

Alabama A&M at South Alabama - 6 p.m. (ESPN3)-You think the Jags aren't happy to see Alabama A&M after seeing Ole Miss and Oklahoma State?

Georgia State (+38') at #5 Penn State - 6:30 p.m. (Big Ten Network)--A week off for GSU last week after a bad loss to Tennessee State.  This could get ugly in a hurry.

* Troy at New Mexico State (+7) - 7 p.m. (ESPN3)--After a close loss at Arizona State and a win over rival New Mexico, it appears the Aggies are much better than we thought.  Could there be an upset brewing in Las Cruces?
