When is enough going to be enough? The Cajuns haven’t been relevant since the trip to Omaha and with the amount of talent in the state of Louisiana, that should not be acceptable. Someone needs to light a fire under this team’s butt and it has to start with the head coach. Coach Robicheaux is a great guy, a player’s coach and a person who’s been loyal to the university. So was Rickey Bustle and so was Robert Lee….just saying.

I don’t think he should necessarily go to jail, BUT if the trees do die, I think he should have to pay to have two giant statues of Cam Newton & Nick Fairley erected where the trees are now and for the next 20 years be responsible for polishing the pigeon poop off of them every Saturday wearing a “Yes We Cam” t-shirt, while little “Bear” & “Crimson” hold the cleaning supplies while sporting their “AU Family – All In” shirts.

I also think it would be a good gesture for him to have to pay for all those repairs needed at Cecil Newton’s churches.See More

Gentleman,

The STM-Comeaux game wasnt even that physical, i saw the entire game from the front row. also the little man (vining i believe) was slapped right across the face when a comeaux player was going for the ball, he then got the call, went to the line and made one of two free throws. all of this whining about bruises and slaps makes me sick. its a contact sport, the boys did a great job on both teams…. we need to shut up about officiating and physicality and let the boys play!!!!!

What is J-Jay Thomas’ brother’s name that is supposedly being highly recruited? I was searching for him on Rivals.com. The only Thomas that shows up is Donald Thomas from Reserve Riverside Academy.

Let me give you my take on this upcoming Super Bowl. The first time I cried over sports was in 1967, when the Cowboys lost to the Colts.
The Packers vs. the Steelers is NOT a “Super” Bowl.

And what a game it was! I didn’t think the refereeing was too bad either with the exception of a few bad calls on both sides. A few less foul calls away from the ball would be nice though.

No one has commented on the march on President Fletcher’s home (the temporary one off of South College) protesting the team’s denial of permission to attend the NAIA, I think, tournament (in Kansas City perhaps), because of state law prohibiting competition against teams that were not lily-white. I think it was organized by my fraternity and was more fun than a panty raid. We tried to interest Time Magazine in an article but I guess it wasn’t newsworthy enough.
