The NCAA has announced some changes to the College World Series, held in Omaha at T. D. Ameritrade Park, beginning this year.

Instead of the 1pm/6pm start times the CWS has had for the last several years, this year games will start at 2pm and 7pm (Central Time).

And, instant replay will be expanded slightly to include review of balls that are ruled fair/foul on the field of play itself.  Previously, replay on fair or foul could only be ruled on home runs.

The ability for umpires to review spectator interference and whether or not the ball left the field of play will be maintained.

Umpires will go to replay assuming the call on the field was correct and there must be indisputable video evidence to overturn the ruling.
