College World Series Field/Schedule Is Set
Ameritrade Field
The field of eight teams for the 2013 College World Series, scheduled to begin this weekend, and lasting through the best-of-three Championship Series, which begins on June 24, is complete.
Action begins at 2 o'clock (cdt), on Saturday afternoon at Ameritrade Field in Omaha, Nebraska, with the Mississippi St. Bulldogs (48-18) taking on the Oregon St. Beavers (50-11), followed by a 7 pm match-up, that will feature the Indiana Hoosiers (48-14) facing the Louisville Cardinals (51-12).
On Sunday, the North Carolina St. Wolfpack (49-14) square off with the North Carolina Tar Heels (57-10) at 2 o'clock, before the LSU Tigers (57-9) meet the UCLA Bruins (44-17) at 7 pm.
