The future postseason model for college football appears to be making progress, but there is still much work to be done, and it is the college presidents that will have the final say.

BCS Commissioners and the athletic director from Notre Dame met today at O'Hare Airport in Chicago but the meeting did not produce anything definitive concerning structure of a playoff system or where those games would be played.  The commissioners will report to their presidents before meeting again in Chicago next week.

The presidential oversight committee is scheduled to meet June 26th in Washington DC.

It is believed the presidents will be given several options to discuss.  Although the consensus seems to be for a four team playoff, the "plus one" proposal is still being discussed as well.

It is possible nothing could be decided until it is time to renegotiate TV contracts this fall.
