While fans of the Louisiana Ragin' Cajuns and LSU Tigers have to wait two more days to see their teams in action, the college football season begins in earnest tonight.

And, Friday night football is now part of the deal as well.

Fans who can't get enough football have plenty of options on ESPN3, but there are a few games worth noting on various networks as well.

Tonight, Sun Belt co-favorite Appalachian State has a tough opener against #9 Tennessee at Neyland Stadium.  It's at 6:30 on the SEC Network.

On ESPN, an SEC game with Will Muschamp making his debut as South Carolina coach as the Gamecocks visit Vanderbilt.  Kickoff is at 7.

And, Rice travels to Western Kentucky in a CUSA game on CBS Sports Network.

On Friday, an in-state matchup as Colorado State meets Colorado at 7 on ESPN.

ESPNU has another Sun Belt game as Toledo meets Arkansas State in Jonesboro.  Kickoff is at 8pm.

And, you can catch Kansas State at Stanford at 8pm on FS1
