The Indianapolis Colts are expected to name Baltimore Ravens defensive coordinator Chuck Pagano as their next head coach. The Colts had interviewed two New Orleans Saints assistants for the position. With the Colts settling on Pagano, it appears Saints offensive coordinator Pete Carmichael Jr. and offensive line coach Aaron Kromer will remain in the Crescent City next season.

Pagano, 51, has been a lifetime assistant at both the pro and college level. Before becoming the Ravens DC, he had stints in Cleveland and Oakland. Pagano also spent time as a defensive assistant at the collegiate level with gigs at Miami and North Carolina.

Chuck seems to be excited about his first head coaching gig. In a statement released through the Ravens, Pagano said, "It's difficult to leave the Ravens, but I couldn't pass up this great opportunity. I'm just thrilled and so excited."
