Former NBA great, and current St. John's head coach Chris Mullin, threw out the ceremonial first pitch prior to Wednesday's game between the Kansas City Royals and the New York Yankees at Yankee Stadium.

Mullin, a five-time NBA All-Star, will be making his head coaching debut this fall as the coach for St. John's, his alma mater, where he was named the Big East Player of the Year in three different seasons.

A member of the 1992 U.S. Olympic "Dream Team", Mullin was named the new head coach at St. John's on March 30.

And yes, he got it to catcher Brian McCann on the fly.
