Philip Rivers passed for 178 yards and one touchdown, and the Chargers beat the Denver Broncos, 21-13, in San Diego on Thursday night.

The defending Super-Bowl champions were never able to find an offensive groove with quarterback Trevor Siemian. Denver (4-2) trailed 19-3 heading into the fourth quarter. Siemian finished 30 of 50 for 230 yards and a late touchdown. His desperation pass at the end of the game was knocked away.

The Chargers snapped a streak of 10 straight losses in the AFC West. Kicker Josh Lambo had four field goals for San Diego (2-4).
