Celtics Demolish 76ers In Game 3
The Boston Celtics figured they could "flip the switch" in Games 1 and 2 of their Eastern Conference Semifinals matchup against the Philadelphia 76ers. It cost them in Game 2. However, in Game 3, the switch was flipped on from start to finish, as Boston cruised to an impressive 107-91 over Philly.
Philadelphia led 33-28 after one quarter, but it was all Boston the rest of the way as they outscored the Sixers 79-58 in the next three frames. Shutdown defense was the key for Doc Rivers' squad. The Celtics held Philly to less than 41% shooting from the field.
Boston now leads the best of seven series 2-1. Game 4 in Philadelphia is Friday. Tip-0ff is set for 7:00.
