CBSSports.com asked the seven members of its college football staff to rate their most overrated and underrated teams in the SEC and make a bold prediction.

As you might expect, different writers had different thoughts.  But four of the seven agreed on the most overrated team in the league.

It's LSU.

It's not a surprise the quarterback position and the lack of production the last few years is the reason why those writers felt LSU was being given more preseason love than they deserve.  The writers love the back seven for the Tigers but also point to their troubles getting to the quarterback as a reason for their lack of confidence in the Tigers.

The writers were split between Texas A&M and Missouri as the most underrated with three votes apiece (ironically, one voter called the Aggies the most overrated.)

And the writers were asked to make a bold prediction and between Nick Chubb and the whole Georgia team, there could be a lot of reason to smile in Athens before the season is over.

Georgia was a unanimous pick to win the SEC East with everyone agreeing Missouri and Tennessee belong in the division's top three.  Things weren't as clear in the West where Auburn got the nod from five of seven writers.  LSU was picked anywhere from third to sixth in what is believed to be college football's toughest division.
