Heat Defeat Mavericks In Game 3, 88-86

The Miami Heat have taken a 2-1 lead in the best-of-seven NBA Finals, after defeating the Dallas Mavericks, 88-86, on Sunday night, in Dallas, Texas.The Associated Press, courtesy of espn.com, reports that Dwyane Wade was the leading scorer for the Heat, with 29 points, while Dirk Nowitzki was the game's high-scorer, leading the way for the Mavs, with 34 points.

After winning the Kentucky Derby as a 20-1 longshot, Animal Kingdom is an early 2-1 favorite for this Saturday's Preakness, the second leg of Horse Racing's Triple Crown.

Alabama offensive tackle Aaron Douglas was found dead today in Florida.  He was 21 years old.

Douglas began his college football career at Tennessee but transferred to a junior college after Lane Kiffin left for USC and Derek Dooley was hired as his replacement
