Yesterday, the Oakland Raiders traded to get Seattle backup quarterback and former LSU QB Matt Flynn.

Today, they made a trade that signifies Flynn won't be the backup in Oakland.

The Raiders traded Carson Palmer to the Arizona Cardinals, for a swap of  draft picks,  and a conditional selection next year.

The Cardinals will send their sixth round pick to Oakland in exchange for the Raiders' seventh round pick and will also give Oakland their seventh round pick in 2014 if Palmer starts at least 13 games.

Palmer also agreed to a new two year contract at Arizona.
