Looks like Mother Nature is the winner Friday night.

The Louisiana Ragin' Cajuns, ranked #1 in the country by Collegiate Baseball, announced today their Friday night game against Western Kentucky has been postponed because of weather.

The two teams will play a doubleheader Saturday beginning at 2:05.  Second game is at 6pm.  Sunday's game will begin at 12 noon to accommodate WKU travel plans.

Both Tony Robichaux of Louisiana (24-2, 6-0 Sun Belt) and Matt Myers of WKU (13-12, 3-3) have announced their pitchers for the weekend.  Two right handers will pitch game one as reigning Sun Belt Pitcher of the Week Justin Hageman (1-1, 2.12 ERA) goes up against the Cajuns' Austin Robichaux (4-1, 1.76).  In game two, WKU will start lefty Austin Clay (3-1, 3.82).  He will be opposed by Louisiana's Carson Baranik (5-0, 1.38).  In Sunday's game, scheduled for 1pm, righty Jake Thompson (2-1 3.45) pitches for the Hilltoppers, while the Cajuns will counter with lefty Cody Boutte (3-0, 4.37).

All three games can be heard on News/Talk 96.5 KPEL-FM.  Airtime is 1:35 on Saturday and 11:30on Sunday.
