The Louisiana Ragin' Cajuns are 14-3 on the season and have sprinted to a 4-0 start in Sun Belt Conference play.

And, people are taking notice.

The Cajuns, winners of eleven of their last twelve games, have moved into the top five of the CollegeInsider Mid-Major Poll.

The Cajuns, ranked eighth going into the holidays, are now in the #4 spot, best among schools in either the Eastern or Central time zones.

Gonzaga (14-3) received 27 of the 31 first place votes in the poll this week, while West Coast Conference rival Saint Mary's (15-2) got the other four.  New Mexico State (13-3) is third in the poll.

Two other Sun Belt schools, UTA (16) and Georgia Southern (22) are also ranked in the poll.  Stephen F. Austin of the Southland Conference is ranked eleventh.

Three Sun Belt coaches, Louisiana's Bob Marlin, Texas State's Danny Kaspar and Appalachian State's Jim Fox, are voters in the poll.
