The top six teams in the Sun Belt Conference are separated by just two games with four weekends remaining, and two of the teams square off in a Sun Belt Conference series this weekend at FIU Baseball Stadium in Miami, FL.

Louisiana's Ragin' Cajuns (29-13, 10-8 Sun Belt) and Florida International (22-17, 10-8) have met fifty times in the series, with FIU holding a 26-24 advantage.  The Panthers have won the last five series between the two teams.  This will be the fourth time in five years the two teams have met in Miami.

South Alabama (12-6) leads the league with WKU, Troy and FAU all at 11-7.

The pitching matchups according to the two schools' sports information departments:

FRIDAY:  UL-RHP Austin Robichaux (6-2, 2.45) vs. FIU LHP Tyler Alexander (3-5, 4.33)

SATURDAY:  UL- LHP Ryan Wilson (3-2, 3.27) vs. FIU RHP Mike Franco (5-1, 4.32)

SUNDAY: UL-LHP Cody Boutte (6-2. 5.09) vs. FIU RHP Alex Seibold (2-2, 4.31)

After Wilson recorded a save Wednesday night vs. Southeastern Louisiana, Cajuns' head coach Tony Robichaux said it was possible he might flip-flop Boutte and Wilson.

The Cajuns lead the Sun Belt in batting average (.315), slugging percentage (.483) and home runs (43).  The pitching staff, however, has an ERA two runs higher on the road than they do at M. L. "Tigue" Moore Field.

Gametimes are 5pm Friday, 3pm Saturday and 9am Sunday (all times central).
