Louisiana's Ragin' Cajun men's basketball team returns to the hardwood on Monday evening, when coach Bob Marlin's squad travels to Tulsa, Oklahoma to take on the Tulsa Golden Hurricane in non-conference action.

The match-up is the first of four games that the Cajuns will play in the MGM Grand Main Event, with their second game scheduled for Friday night at Auburn, before taking on Milwaukee and Oral Roberts next week in Las Vegas.

Louisiana, who went 23-12 a season ago, including a trip to the NCAA Tournament, defeated Louisiana College, 85-57, in their season opener last Friday.

Junior forward Devonta Walker led the way for the Cajuns in the win over the Wildcats, scoring 20 points and grabbing seven rebounds, while senior forward Brian Williams added 11 points and five rebounds.

Louisiana out-shot Louisiana College from the field, 56%-40%, while also finishing with a 46-24 rebound advantage.

Tulsa, who went 21-13 last season, dropped their season opener on Saturday night, falling to Oral Roberts, 77-68.

The Golden Hurricane was paced by by junior forward D'Andre Wright, who scored 17 points, while pulling down seven rebounds.

Tulsa finished the game with a 44-36 rebounding edge over Oral Roberts, but were out-shot, 40%-34%.

UL doesn't return home home until December 3, when they host Jackson St.
