After two practices yesterday, the Louisiana Ragin' Cajuns will hold their first scrimmage of fall camp tonight.

The scrimmage is closed to the public.

After a tough practice in the morning in full pads on Tuesday, Louisiana did a light walk-through at the Leon Moncla Indoor Practice Facility last night.

The scrimmage will be an opportunity for the three Cajun's quarterbacks, juniors Brooks Haack and Jalen Nixon and redshirt freshman Jordan Davis, a chance to impress the coaching staff.  Head coach Mark Hudspeth has not named a starter for the season opener against Kentucky on Sept.5th.

In addition, the scrimmage will provide reps for the Cajuns' wide receivers, a corps depleted after Jared Johnson and Lance Pace were lost for the season because of injury and returning received C. J. Bates was dismissed from the team.

The Cajuns open the home portion of their season Sept. 12th against Northwestern State at Cajun Field.  Season tickets are available by calling (337) 265-2297 or visiting on line at ragincajuns.com
