Louisiana's Ragin Cajun baseball team returns to the diamond on Friday night, playing host to the FAU Owls, in the opening game of a three-game, weekend, Sun Belt Conference series, at M.L. "Tigue" Moore Field.

Louisiana is currently 25-12, overall, and 8-7 in Sun Belt Conference play, while FAU comes in at 25-12, overall, and 10-5 in league play.

The Owls are tied, with South Alabama and WKU, for the lead atop the Sun Belt Conference standings, the Cajuns two games back, in a two-way tied for fourth place, with FIU and Troy. Louisiana may be primed to make a move howeer, as they're scheduled to play nine of their next 12 games at home.

FAU leads the all-time series, 9-8.

Game times for the three-game set are 6 o'clock on Friday night, 6:05 pm on Saturday, and noon on Sunday.

FRIDAY: Louisiana--So., RHP Austin Robichaux (5-2, 2.45 ERA.) vs. FAU---So., LHP Austin Gomber (4-2, 2.28 ERA.)

SATURDAY: Louisiana---Jr., LHP Ryan Wilson (3-2, 3.45 ERA.) vs. FAU---Jr., RHP Jeremy Strawn (2-2, 3.55 ERA.)

SUNDAY: Louisiana---Jr., LHP Cody Boutte (5-2, 5.44 ERA.) vs. FAU---Fr., LHP Brandon Rhodes (3-1, 2.79 ERA.).
