Bryce Washington led all scorers with 25 points and a dozen rebounds as the Louisiana Ragin' Cajuns defeated West Florida 94-72 in their exhibition game at Blackham Coliseum Thursday night.

Washington was one of four Cajuns to score in double figures as BYU transfer Frank Bartley IV scored 13 points, with Johnathon Stove adding 12.  Jerekius Davis added eleven points off the bench as the Cajuns built a 16 point lead in the first half.

The Cajuns shot 50% (34-68 from the field and nailed 20-24 free throws in the contest.  The Cajuns led by as many as 29 points, forcing 20 turnovers by the Argonauts.

The Cajuns opened the game with only four starters as they honored the late Herman Williams, who passed away during the off-season while playing in his hometown.

Washington was 11-13 from the field on the night

Deangelo Legrier led UWF with 16 points.

The Cajuns officially open their season November 11th at Minnesota.  Their home season begins November 17th against Panhandle State at Blackham Coliseum.
