Javone Lawson caught two touchdown passes and two Cajuns running backs combined for over 200 yards rushing as Louisiana's Ragin' Cajuns defated the Tulane Green Wave 41-13 before 29, 758 fans at Cajun Field.

Louisiana (4-1) never trailed in the contest, opening up a 24-10 halftime lead and adding to that total, scoring the first fourteen points of the third quarter.

The Cajuns also scored a touchdown on defense as linebacker Justin Anderson returned an interception 38 yards for a touchdown.  The Cajuns won the turnover battle 3-1.

Terrance Broadway got his first start of the season in relief of the injured Blaine Gautier and threw for two touchdowns and ran for a third in leading the Cajuns to the win.  Broadway was intercepted once.

Alonzo Harris and Effrem Reed combined to rush for over 200 yards on the night, with Harris rushing for 123 yards and a touchdown and the redshirt freshman Reed tallying 85 yards.  Lawson caught four passes for 82 yards to go with his two touchdowns on the night.

The Cajuns limited the Green Wave (0-5) to 226 yards of offense on the night, with 71 of them coming on a touchdown pass from D. J. Ponder to Justin Shackleford.

The Cajuns will now travel to Denton Texas to take on the North Texas Mean Green in a nationally televised game (ESPN2) a week from Tuesday night.  Kickoff is scheduled for 8 pm.
