The 16th-ranked UL softball team remains unbeaten in 2011, after defeating the Tennessee St. Tigers, 9-1, on Sunday. The victory completed a 5-0 weekend record for the Cajuns in the Ragin' Cajun Invitational, and moved their record to a perfect 10-0 for the season. Ragincajuns.com has the story, below.

The 16th ranked Ragin' Cajuns softball team closed out the Ragin' Cajuns Invitational with a 9-1, five-inning win over Tennessee State on Sunday.  The win gave Louisiana (10-0) a perfect 5-0 record on the weekend, winning them their second consecutive regular season tournament title.

UL was led at the plate by Sarah Draheim who posted two hits and four RBI on the day.

Ashley Brignac (4-0) got the start and the win in the circle.  She went 4.1 innings, giving up just one hit and one unearned run while striking out six.
