The Louisiana Ragin' Cajuns pounded out 19 hits and cruised to a 17-3 win over the New Orleans Privateers Tuesday night in a game called after seven innings at First NBC Park/Maestri Field.

The Cajuns (34-19) broke a 1-1 tie with a six run third inning and put the game away with a seven run sixth inning in handing New Orleans (30-21) its only non-conference home loss of the season.

Wyatt Marks (4-6) was the beneficiary of the offensive outburst in a strong five innings of work.  Marks allowed just one earned run on three hits.  He walked three and struck out seven.

Kyle Clement, Stefan Trosclair and Nick Thurman led the 19 hit onslaught with three hits apiece.  Trosclair and Thurman each drove in three runs, while Joe Robbins, Ishmael Edwards, Steven Sensley and Alex Pinero had two RBI each.

Nine different Cajuns scored at least one run, ten had at least one hit and eight Louisiana players drove in at least one run.

Ryan Leone (1-3) was tagged with the loss after giving up six runs in 0.2 innings of work.  The Cajuns scored at least one run against five of the six Privateers' pitchers used on the night.
