Louisiana's Ragin' Cajun baseball team won the rubber game of a three-game, weekend, Sun Belt Conference series on Sunday, smashing the FIU Panthers, 14-4, in Miami, Florida.

For the second-consecutive Sunday, Louisiana won via the ten-run rule, winning the game in eight innings.

The Cajuns were able to bang out 18 hits, including nine extra base hits, and five homers.

Dylan Butler hits two homers, while Dex Kjerstad, Caleb Adams, and Michael Strentz each hit one apiece.

After trailing, 2-1, after the first inning, Louisiana scored eight unanswered runs, including a five-run fifth inning, which put the game away.

Kody Smith (1-2) picked up the win, with Ben Carter recording his first save, while Alex Seibold (2-3) suffered the loss.

The Cajuns, who have now won four straight conference series, improved to 31-14, overall, and 12-9 in Sun Belt Conference play, while FIU dropped to 23-19, overall, and 11-10 in league play.
