For the first time in nearly a month, Louisiana's Ragin' Cajuns will perform in front of the home crowd as they get set to host Sun Belt-leader FIU.

The Cajuns and Golden Panthers are set to kick-off at 6:00 p.m. at Cajun Field.

UL comes into Saturday's contest after a tight 24-23 loss at Florida Atlantic last week.  The Cajuns failed to convert a two-point conversion attempt with 1:45 remaining in the game.

The Cajuns received a solid debut from first-time starter Blaine Gautier.  The Paulina native accounted for 340 yards of offense, including 254 through the air and 86 on the ground.  He also accounted for three of the Cajuns four touchdowns.

Gautier got a lot of help in the passing game from junior tight end Ladarius Green.  Green, who was named a Mackey Award Semifinalist on Monday, caught six passes for 111 yards and a TD against the Owls.

Green is now poised to crack the Cajuns top 10 in career receiving yards.  He is just two yards behind Jason Cherry for tenth place.  Green is also just 106 receiving yards away from seventh place.  His receiving touchdown on Saturday also moved Green into a tie for 5th place in school history in that category.

The Cajuns defense has also stepped up as of late.  UL has hit or pressured the opposing quarterback 32 times in the last two games, including four sacks at Florida Atlantic last Saturday.  The Cajuns have eight pass break-ups and 11 tackles-for-loss in the last two games.

Saturday's contest will mark the final home game for a group of 20 seniors.  The group includes Tyler Albrecht, Orkeys Auriene, Ian Burks, Jonathan Decoster, Matt Desormeaux, Richie Falgout, Grant Fleming, Seth Guilbeaux, Nasser Jamal, Julian Jones, Daylon McCoy, Marlin Miller, Sharrick Moore, Spencer Ortego, Terrell Richardson, Jermaine Rogers, Maurice Rolle, Jr., Jordan Topp, Colin Windsor and Vernon Wolfe.

After their match-up with FIU this Saturday, the Cajuns will travel to take on La.-Monroe on Saturday, November 27 to close out the season.
