Cajuns Ranked #13 by D1Baseball

Another pre-season poll, another national ranking for the Louisiana Ragin' Cajuns.

The pre-season poll for D1Baseball is out and Louisiana checks in at #13, which is about where they've been in the previous polls (#14 by Collegiate Baseball, #13 by Perfect Game.)

But, unlike the other polls, the Cajuns are not the highest ranked Sun Belt team

Coastal Carolina, the 2016 National Champions are ranked ahead of the Cajuns at #11.  The Chanticleers return three of their top four pitchers in Andrew Beckwith, Alex Cunningham and Bobby Holmes.

TCU is ranked #1.  Three SEC teams, #2 Florida, #4 South Carolina and #5 LSU are in the top five.  Vanderbilt is ranked seventh.

Three leagues, the ACC (7), the SEC (5) and the PAC-12 (4) have sixteen of the 25 teams.  The Big 12 and Big West join the Sun Belt with two selections each, while the American, CUSA and Big Ten had one team each.
