The Louisiana Ragin' Cajuns came from behind by scoring six times in the seventh inning to defeat Jackson State 7-2 and complete a three game sweep of the Tigers at M. L. "Tigue" Moore Field.

The win was the sixth straight for the Cajuns (21-13), who completed a 5-0 week.

Jackson State starter VIncent Anthonia, who defeated the Cajuns in the 2014 NCAA Reginals, shacked the Cajuns over one hit through six innings.  But the Cajuns got to reliever Jamal WIlson (2-3) in the seventh when Stefan Trosclair led off with a sharp single.  Greg Davis followed with a looping single to center.  Nick Thurman then reached Wilson looked to third on the Cajun catcher's sacrifice bunt, loading the bases.  Brenn Conrad walked on four pitches to bring home the first run and Evan Powell was hit by a pitch, bringing home Davis to tie the game.  After Kyle Clement struck out, Joe Robbins delivered two runs with a sharp single to right center to give the Cajuns a 4-2 lead.  Powell stole third and Robbins took second on a wild pitch.  Blake Trahan then brought home two runs on a double squeeze bunt to cap the six run inning.

The Cajuns added an insurance run in the eighth on a ground out by Thurman to close the scoring.

Colton Lee (1-2) picked up his first win of the season with two scoreless innings, before giving way to Dylan Moore, who put up another zero in the ninth.

The game was scoreless until the sixth inning when Jackson State (21-14) got a pair of unearned runs off Cajuns' starter Evan Guillory.  Lance Briggs reached on a fielding error with one out and went to second on Guillory's errant pickoff throw.  Melvin Rodriguez was walked intentionally.  Javany Felipe forced Rodriguez at second but stole second and both Briggs and Felipe came home on a single by Jesus Santana.  Guillory gave up just four hits with six strikeouts.

Anthonia allowed a leadoff single to Trahan to open the game, but that was the only hit the Cajuns would get.  Anthonia hit a batter and walked two, with two of those base runners erased via the double play.

The Cajuns will entertain Southeastern Louisiana Tuesday night at 6pm.
