Are the Louisiana Ragin' Cajuns headed to a college football bowl game in the Mountain Standard Time Zone?

Well, at least one major media outlet seems to think so.

Joe Tansey, of Bleacher Report, projects Louisiana to play in the Arizona Bowl, which is scheduled for Saturday, December 29 at Arizona Stadium in Tucson, Arizona.

UL is currently 6-5 on the season, while Nevada, a member of the Mountain West Conference, stands at 7-4.

Louisiana, who plays their final regular season game on the road this Saturday, taking on ULM, needs a win to secure a spot in the inaugural Sun Belt Conference Championship the following weekend.

The winner of that title game will represent the Sun Belt Conference in the New Orleans Bowl.

Currently, six Sun Belt Conference schools are bowl-eligible, with Coastal Carolina also a possibility, only one win away, but only five of those schools are guaranteed a spot in a bowl game.

Also of note; Tansey and Bleacher Report projects LSU to play in the Sugar Bowl, against UCF, and they project their 4-team College Football Playoff Field as being Alabama, Clemson, Michigan, and Notre Dame.
