The Louisiana Ragin' Cajuns play the first of four straight road games to close out the regular season as they travel to Thibodaux to take on the Nicholls State Colonels at Ray E. Didier Field.

The Cajuns (31-19) dropped two of three against league leading South Alabama over the

weekend.   The Colonels are 32-16-1 and are riding an eight game winning streak after sweeping New Orleans over the weekend.  Nicholls is currently in third place in the Southland Conference with a 17-10 record.

Will Bacon (3-2, 3.10) will get his fourth start of the season for the Cajuns.  He will be opposed by Marc Frazier (3-5, 3.44).

Nicholls boasts a 2.35 team ERA, good for fourth best in the country.  Their winning streak is the longest since 2010 and the Colonels have accomplished back to back 30-win seasons for the first time since 1992-93.

Nicholls won the first meeting between the two teams, 3-1 back on March 25.  The Cajuns made four errors in that game.  All of the Colonels' runs were unearned.

The Cajuns will then head to Monroe for their final games of the regular season as they take on UL Monroe at Warhawk Field.
