Greg Milhorn and Dylan Moore combined on a six hitter to lead the Louisiana Ragin' Cajuns to a 3-2 win over Georgia State and a sweep of their doubleheader.

In the first game, freshman Gunner Leger and Chris Charpentier allowed only five hits as the Cajuns unleashed a 13 hit attack to beat the Panthers 10-1.

Milhorn (1-0) was dominating through seven innings, allowing only four hits and a solo home run by Joey Roach in the fourth inning.  The senior walked one and struck out three.  Moore got his third save, allowing a bases empty home run in the ninth.  Moore gave up the home run to James Clements with two out in the ninth inning but got Trae Sweeting on a called third strike to end the game

The Cajuns (12-8, 5-3 Sun Belt) got a run in the first inning on a Greg Davis single, added another run in the fourth on a single by Brian Mills and scored the final run in the eighth on a single through a drawn in infield by Stefan Trosclair.

In game one, freshman Gunner Leger (3-0) scattered four hits through seven innings for the win. Leger was only in trouble one time when Georgia State got their only run.  With the bases loaded and nobody out, Leger got Caden Bailey to ground into a 4-6 3 double play and then coaxed a fly ball from Joey Roach to end the threat.

The Cajuns got a pair of runs int he third inning a double by Dylan Butler, a ground ball and a sacrifice fly by Tyler Girouard.  Davis followed with his second homer of the season that gave the Cajuns a 2-0 lead.

The Cajuns broke the game open in the fourth, scoring on a two run single by Blake Trahan and a single by Nick Thurman and an error.  The Cajuns got four more in the sixth on Thurman's two run single, Mills' groundout and a base hit by Brenn Conrad.

The Cajuns collected 35 hits in the three game series.

Louisiana is back in action Tuesday night at 6pm vs. McNeese State in Lake Charles.
