Back on January 13, the Louisiana Ragin' Cajuns hammered the ULM Warhawks 82-48 at the Cajundome.

No one is expecting anything close to that this time around.

Saturday the Cajuns (19-3, 9-0 Sun Belt) and Warhawks (9-11, 3-6) tangle at Fant-Ewing Coliseum in Monroe, where ULM has been tough to beat this season.

The Warhawks are winless on the road this season, but they are 9-2 at home with their only home loss against Appalachian State, a game the Warhawks led most of the way before a late rally by the Mountaineers.

How different has ULM been at home?

About twenty points per game.

The Warhawks shoot it well inside their home arena, averaging 79 points per game in league play, but scoring just 56 points per game in five road league contests.

"They play a little faster at home and they've got good shooters," head coach Bob Marlin said.  "It's never easy to win in Monroe."

The Cajuns hold a commanding 53-23 advantage in the series, but are just 19-17 in games played in Monroe.  Last year, the Cajuns needed a half court shot from Johnathan Stove at the buzzer to leave Monroe with a win.

ULM has four players averaging double digits with Sam McDaniel (15.6) and Travis Munnings (15.1) leading the way.  Freshman Michael Ertel has caught fire and has his average up to 10.6 points, while Marvin Jean-Pierre (10.5) rounds out the double digit scorers.  McDaniel led ULM with 19 points in the game in Lafayette, while Munnings had 12, but didn't score until the second half.

The game is part of a men's/women's doubleheader, with both games on ESPN1420.  The men's game will also be on KHXT (107.9-FM).  Both games are also available world wide on the ESPN1420 app.  Airtime for the women's game is at 11:45 with tipoff at 12:00 noon.
