Louisiana’s Ragin’ Cajun football team returns to the gridiron on Saturday, when coach Mark Hudspeth’s squad travels to Stillwater, Oklahoma, to take on the Oklahoma St. Cowboys, in non-conference action.

A win over Oklahoma State this week would allow UL to start the season with three straight victories for the first time since 1988, when the Cajuns started 4-0, claiming wins over Cal State Fullerton, Sam Houston State, Rice, and East Carolina.
In the win over Troy, Alonzo Harris rushed for 137 yards and a touchdown to spark the UL offense while kicker Brett Baer made three field goals to break the Sun Belt Conference record for consecutive fields goals made.

Harris leads the Cajun rushing attack this year, whith 194 yards on 37 carries.

Oklahoma St. fell to Arizona last week, 59-38, dropping the Cowboys to 1-1 on the season.

The two school have met eight previous times, with Oklahoma St. winning all of them, including a 61-34 win over the Cajuns last year in Stillwater, Oklahoma.

Kick-off time is slated for 11:06 am.

You can hear the braodcast, beginning with the pre-game show, at 9:06 am, on Sports Radio ESPN 1420, and espn1420.com.
