Louisiana’s Ragin’ Cajun men’s basketball team returns to the hardwood on Tuesday night, when coach Bob Marlin’s squad travels to Los Angels, California to take on the UCLA Bruins in a non-conference match-up.

Louisiana, who fell to the Louisiana Tech Bulldogs, 91-79, in non-conference action on Saturday afternoon, is 3-4 on the young season, while UCLA, who beat Gonzaga, 71-66, on Saturday night, will enter the match-up with a record of 8-3.

Louisiana is led by senior forward Shawn Long, who is averaging 18.3 points, to go along with 11.6 rebounds-per-game, and sophomore swingman Johnathan Stove, who is averaging 12.0 points and 4.0 rebounds a contest.

The Bruins are paced by junior guard Bryce Alford, who is scoring 15.5 points, while pulling down 4.5 rebounds-per-game.
This will be the first-ever meeting between the two schools.
