Louisiana's Ragin' Cajun men's basketball team is back on the hardwood on Friday evening, as coach Bob Marlin's squad will be in Las Cruces, New Mexico for a non-conference match-up with the New Mexico St. Aggies.

Louisiana is coming off of a 76-66 non-conference win over Southern-New Orleans on Wednesday at the Cajundome, a win that pushed the Cajuns to 2-2 on the year, while New Mexico St. stands at 2-3, after defeating Northern Mexico, 67-37, on Wednesday.

The Cajuns are led by freshman center Shawn Long, who is averaging 15.0 points, and 8.5 rebounds per game, while sophomore Daniel Mullings paces the Aggies, at 15.4 points, and 6.2 boards a contest.

Louisiana leads the all-time series, 10-4, with New Mexico St. capturing a 82-76 win over UL back in December of 2010, the last time the two schools met.

Tip-off time is scheduled for 8:30 pm.
