UL will represent the Sun Belt Conference in the R&L Carriers New Orleans Bowl, and will take on an opponent to be named at a later date.

The game will take place at the Mercedes Benz Superdome on Saturday, December 17. Kickoff is scheduled for 8 p.m.

The Cajuns are 8-3 on the year, and will wrap-up their 2011 regular season scheuled this Saturday, when they take on the Arizona Wildcats, in non-conference action.
