Louisiana's Ragin' Cajuns will try to rebound from their toughest loss of the season tonight when they entertain Arkansas State at the Cajundome.  Tipoff is scheduled for 7:15.  The game will be heard on the Louisiana Ragin' Cajuns Radio Network (espn1420, Hot 107.9, 1240KANE.)

The two teams will be meeting for the second time this year.  Arkansas State came back from a ten point halftime deficit to beat the Cajuns 79-74 in Jonesboro on January 21st.

The Cajuns lead the all-time series 43-21 and 16-6 at the Cajundome.  The Cajuns have won the last four games in the series at the 'Dome.

The Cajuns (14-12, 8-4 Sun Belt) will try to rebound after a tough 72-70 loss in overtime Thursday night against Arkansas-Little Rock.  The Cajuns missed four free throws in the final minute of regulation allowing UALR to tie the game on a pair of three pointers in the final ten seconds.

They'll face an Arkansas State team (10-16, 4-7) that was expected to contend for the Western Division championship this year.  But injuries and attrition have hurt the Red Wolves, leaving them without a lot of depth.

In the first meeting, J. J. Thomas led three Cajuns in double figures, but Arkansas State got 19 points and eleven rebounds from Brandon Peterson, 14 points from Malcolm Kirkland and 17 from Trey Finn to get the win.  Twelve of Finn's points came in the second half.  He is not expected to play tonight because of injury.  The Red Wolves outrebounded the Cajuns by ten in that game and that will be a point of emphasis tonight for Louisiana.

The game is part of a mens''/womens' doubleheader at the Cajundome beginning at 5pm.
