Cajuns Look for Third Straight Win; Take on Texas State
After dropping three straight games, the Louisiana Ragin’ Cajuns now have a chance to win their third straight as they take on the Texas State Bobcats in a 4:30pm game at Strahan Coliseum in San Marcos, TX.
The Cajuns are fresh off a 92-89 win over UT Arlington, a game in which they dominated until the final two and a half minutes. The Cajuns (14-9, 5-5 Sun Belt) currently stand in fifth place in the Sun Belt standings.
Texas State (7-15, 3-6) has been playing much better of late and is coming off a home win over UL Monroe Thursday night. The Cajuns won the first meeting between the two teams 81-58 in Lafayette.
in that game, the Cajuns shot better than 50% and made eight three point baskets. Shawn Long, Elfrid Payton and Bryant Mbamalu all scored in double figures in that contest.
