Cajuns LB Washington Out 3-6 Weeks, Riles & Briscoe Questionable

Louisiana Ragin' Cajun senior linebacker Darzil Washington will miss three to six weeks with a shoulder injury, according to UL head coach Mark Hudspeth.

Washington appeared to suffer the injury in the first half of Saturday's loss at Kentucky.

Hudspeth announced the injury status of Washington earlier today on a Sun Belt coaches conference call.

Junior slot receiver Al Riles (pictured left) left Saturday's game with a shoulder injury as well, while junior defensive tackle Jacoby Briscoe exited the game with an ankle injury.

Hudspeth said both are questionable for Saturday's home opener at Cajun Field against Northwestern State.
