Louisiana's Ragin' Cajuns are in third place in the Sun Belt Conference, two games behind league leading South Alabama.

The leaders are coming to town this weekend.

The Cajuns entertain the #20 Jaguars at M. L. "Tigue" Moore Field in the final regular season home appearances for the Cajuns.  Gametimes are 6:00 pm Friday, 6:05 pm Saturday and 1:00 pm Sunday.

The Jaguars (37-13, 17-7 Sun Belt) have won ten of their last eleven games, with their only loss coming last Sunday to Middle Tennessee.  The Cajuns, (34-15, 15-9) meanwhile, have won their last five conference games to get back into the race.

The Jags are currently third in the league in batting (.298,) first in pitching (3.90) and third in defense (.971).  Jordan Patterson is among the league leaders in most offensive categories, including batting average (.368-5th), hits (68-5th), runs (54-3rd), rbi (44-5th), doubles (20-2nd), total bases (102-6th), walks (35-2nd) and on-base percentage (.500-1st).

Matt Bell (5-0. 2.59) and Jacob Noble (5-2, 2.59) are tied for the league lead in ERA.  Bell will be the starting pitcher for the Jaguars on Saturday.  Noble will start on Sunday.  Kyle Bartsch (3-0. 2.57. 11 saves) is the leader out of a solid bullpen.

The Cajuns will throw Austin Robichaux (7-2, 2.92) on Friday and Cody Boutte (8-2, 4.66) on Saturday.  Head coach Tony Robichaux has not yet named his Sunday starter.

The Cajuns have used a balanced offensive attack to lead the Sun Belt in hitting, home runs and slugging percentage.  They have batted at least.350 in each of the last five SBC series.
