The Louisiana Ragin' Cajuns are riding a six game winning streak after posting a 5-0 week last week.

They'll have to beat a good ball club if they're going to make it seven.

The Cajuns (21-13) play host to Southeastern Louisiana (26-11) at M. L. "Tigue" Moore Field in the first of two meetings between the two teams this season.

Eric Carter (1-1, 2.78), who sparkled last Wednesday in his first start of the season against Southern, will get the start for the Cajuns.  Carter has struck out 14 batters in 9.1 innings this season.

Lefty Pat Cashman (3-3, 4.18) will make his sixth start of the season for Matt Riser's Lions.  Cashman has allowed 13 earned runs in 28 innings of work.

Designated hitter Daniel Midyett will be the hitter to circle on the lineup card.  Midyett is hitting .336 with six homers and 32 RBI.  Kevin Carr leads the Lions in hitting with a .369 batting average.

The Cajuns will hit the road for a three game series at Texas State beginning Friday evening at 6pm.
