It's been two weeks since they've been at home and the record crowds are expected to continue this weekend when the Louisiana Ragin' Cajuns host the LIttle Rock Trojans in their Sun Belt home opening series at M. L. "Tigue" Moore Field.

Game times are scheduled for 6pm Friday, 2pm Saturday and 1pm Sunday.  All games will be heard on KPEL 96.5 FM.

Louisiana (11-6, 2-1 Sun Belt) is unbeaten at the "Tigue" this season and will send their normal pitching rotation to the mound with lefty Gunner Leger (1-1, 1.52) getting the Friday start.  Two right handers, Wyatt Marks (2-1, 3.37) and freshman Nick Lee (3-0, 2.82) will get the Saturday and Sunday starts, respectively.

Little Rock had the misfortune of having to move its home conference series to Mobile this past weekend after heavy rains in Arkansas. (ULM also had to move its opening series against Texas State from Monroe to San Marcos.)  Little Rock dropped all three games, 13-5, 7-5 and 10-6.  The Trojans defeated Central Arkansas in its last outing and comes into town with a 6-10 record.

The Trojans have been able to hit the ball and score runs.  They come to town with a team batting average of .290 and are averaging just under six runs per game. Outfielder Ryan Scott currently leads the nation in hitting with a .492 batting average including five home runs.

Little Rock has struggled to find three reliable starters this season and head coach Chris Curry will give left hander Dylan Slaton his first start of the season.  Slaton has pitched well out of the bullpen with one save and a 2.84 ERA.  Right hander Cory Malcolm (0-3, 16.39) is scheduled to start on Saturday, while Joe Corbett, another righty (2-0, 5.00) gets the Sunday start.

The Cajuns lead the all time series 51-18, but dropped both games played in Little Rock last year.
