Cajuns Host Knights

Louisiana's Ragin' Cajun men's basketball team returns to the hardwood tonight, as coach Bob Marlin's squad plays host to the Southern-New Orleans Knights, in non-conference action at the Cajundome.

Louisiana fell to Boise St. last Sunday, 63-57, dropping them to 1-2 on the year, while Southern New Orleans, an NAIA school, was last in action on November 9, when they defeated Loyola, 78-70, improving them to 2-0 on the season.

Junior forward Bryant Mbamalu leads the Cajuns in scoring, averaging 14.0 points-per-game, while junior Joshua Major paces the Knights, at 13.0 points a contest.

This marks the first-ever meeting between the two schools.

Tip-off time is scheduled for 7:05 pm.
