The Louisiana Ragin' Cajuns will try to snap a three game losing streak beginning Thursday when they host the Georgia State Panthers at M. L. "Tigue" Moore Field.

Coaches in the Sun Belt Conference voted to move the three game series on Easter weekend to a Thursday-Friday-Saturday format so teams and fans could spend Easter with their families.

Both teams come into the game with 12-9 records.  The Cajuns are 3-3 in league play, while Georgia State is 2-1.

The series will mark the first time the Panthers have left Atlanta since the season began.  Of their 21 games, 20 have been played at the GSU Baseball Complex.  Their only road contest was at crosstown rival Georgia Tech.

The Cajuns lead the all-time series 5-1.  The Cajuns are 3-0 against the Panthers at the "Tigue" and 2-1 in Atlanta.  The Cajuns will change up their pitching rotation with lefty Gunner Leger (2-1, 1.52)being held back until game two on Friday.  The move is to give Leger an extra day of rest, having pitched a day later than normal last week.  Wyatt Marks (2-2, 5.48) will get the Thursday start after lasting just 1.2 innings last Saturday.Freshman Nick Lee (3-1, 3.58) scheduled for Saturday.

Georgia State will keep the same pitching rotation as last weekend.  Lefty Wayne Wages (1-2, 6.64 ERA) will start on Thursday.  Right hander Marc-Andre Habeck (1-0, 2.31) will get the Friday start, with another right hander, Bryan White (1-0. 4.22) scheduled for Saturday.  Cole Uvila, who had been GSU's best pitcher (1-1, 0.90) is out for the season with an elbow injury, the third member of the pitching staff to be lost for the season.  Relievers Logan Barnette and Will White both underwent arm surgery in the fall.  In addition, outfielder Cam Sperry, who started 36 games last year is out for the year with a knee injury.

All three games can be heard on 96.5 KPEL-FM.
