Louisiana's Ragin' Cajun football team returns to the gridiron on Tuesday evening, as coach Mark Hudspeth's squad plays host to the Arkansas St. Red Wolves, in Sun Belt Conference action.

Louisiana fell to North Texas last Tuesday, in Denton, Texas, 30-23, dropping them to 4-2 overall, and 2-1 in Sun Belt Conference play, while Arkansas St. was last in action on Saturday, October 13, when they defeated South Alabama, 36-29, to improve to 4-3 overall, and 2-1 in conference play.

Offensively, the Cajuns are averaging 35.5 points-per-game, and 404.5 yards-per-game, which rank third, and sixth, respectively, in the league, while the Red Wolves are averaging 31.3 ppg, and 448.7 ypg, which rank fourth, and third in the conference. ASU brings in the best rushing attack in the league, averaging 215.1 yards on the ground per contest.

Defensively, UL ranks second in the conference in points allowed, at 25.3 points-per-game, and eighth in yards allowed, at 422.2, while Arkansas St. currently ranks seventh in the league in points allowed, at 28.9, and fourth in yards allowed, at 376.3.

The Cajuns are led offensively by sophomore quarterback Terrance Broadway, who has thrown for 877 yards and five touchdowns, while the Red Wolves are paced by senior quarterback Ryan Aplin, who has thrown for 1,591 yards, along with 11 touchdown tosses.

Louisiana leads the all-time series between the two schools, 21-18-1, and has won 15 of the last 21 meetings, including an eight-game winning streak at Cajun Field dating back to 1992.

Kick-off time at Cajun Field is scheduled for 7:05 pm.
