Cajuns Head West to Face Cougars
For the second time in as many Saturday's, Louisiana's Ragin' Cajuns men's basketball team is heading west on Interstate 10. They're hoping this trip will be more successful than the last, when they lost at McNeese State, 77-72.
The Cajuns (4-6) meet the Houston Cougars (7-2) at Hofheinz Pavilion Saturday night at 7:00. It will be the fifteenth meeting all time between the two schools with Houston holding an 8-6 edge.
The Cajuns played at Hofheinz in Coach Bob Marlin's first season. The Cougars came back from a 13 point deficit to best the Cajuns 78-65.
The game will be heard on the Louisiana Ragin' Cajuns Radio Network, including flagship SportsRadio ESPN 1420 as well as Hot 107.9 beginning at 6:30.
