Louisiana's Ragin' Cajun men's basketball team had their five-game home win streak snapped on Thursday night, after falling to the South Alabama Jaguars, 70-65, in Sun Belt Conference play at the Cajundome.

UL led it, 38-30, at the half, but South Alabama out-scored the Cajuns, 24-14, over the first 10:06 of the second half, to take a 54-52 lead at the 9:04 mark, and never looked back.

The Jaguars were able to out-shoot the Cajuns from the field, 43%-37%, and were also able to out-rebound UL by a 43-35 count.

Trey Anderson led South Alabama, with 18 points and 11 rebounds, while Josh Brown paced Louisiana in a losing cause, with 13 points and six boards.

With the victory, South Alabama improves to 9-6 overall, and 1-3 in Sun Belt Conference play, while UL fell to 8-10 overall, and 2-2 in league play.

The Cajuns return to action on Saturday, when they host FIU, at the Cajundome.
