For the second day in a row,  Louisiana's Ragin' Cajuns pounded out double-digit hits, but fell for the second straight day, losing to Texas State, 9-5, in the CenturyTel Bobcat Classic.

Texas State (2-1) scored in six of their eight at bats in handing the Cajuns the loss.  Starter Chris Griffit (0-1) took the loss for the Cajuns (1-2), allowing three runs and six hits in 3 2/3 innings.

Freshman Dylan Butler hit the Cajuns' first home run of the year, a solo homer.

The Cajuns travel to Hammond Wednesday against Southeastern Louisiana at 6pm.  The game will be heard on espn1420 beginning at 5:30.
