Cajuns Face Cardinals

Louisiana's Ragin' Cajun men's basketball team is back on the hardwood, this afternoon,  playing host to the Lamar Cardinals, in non-conference action, at the Cajundome. The game is the second game of a UL women's/men's basketball doubleheader.

Tip-off time is scheduled for 2:15 pm, or 30 minutes after the completion of the women's game. You can hear all the action on Sports Radio ESPN 1420, and espn1420.com, beginning with the pre-game show, at 1:45 pm. Ragincajuns.com has a game preview, below.

UL looks to put a stop to a seven-game losing streak on Sunday against long-time opponent Lamar.

It is the 81st meeting between the two schools with the series deadlocked at 40-40. The two teams have met twice over the past two seasons. The winner of each contest won on the road with UL grabbing a 68-60 win in Beaumont. In 2008, Lamar claimed a 68-78 win at the Cajundome.
