J.J. Thomas turned in a career-high 22 points as Louisiana’s Ragin’ Cajuns drained a season-high 10 three pointers en route to a 84-75 win over Louisiana-Monroe on Saturday night at the Cajundome.
Thomas finished the night one rebound shy of his fourth-straight double-double in 33 minutes of action as the Cajuns wrapped up its UL Basketball Reunion weekend in front of a 5,624 fans.
La’Ryan Gary also reached double figures with 18 points and an 8-for-8 effort from the charity stripe.
