Louisiana's Ragin' Cajun men's basketball team wrapped-up their 2013-2014 home schedule on Sunday, defeating the South Alabama Jaguars, 102-76, in Sun Belt Conference action at the Cajundome.

The win was the fifth-consecutive home win for Louisiana, who eclipsed the 100-point mark for the third time this year.

The Cajuns led at the half, 52-27, and then outscored the Jaguars, 50-47, in the second half, to cruise to the 26-point win.

Louisiana out-shot South Alabama from the field, 62%-38, while finishing with a 45-26 rebound advantage.

Senior Bryant Mbamalu, in his last game at the Cajundome, led all scorers with 32 points, and reached the 1,000-point career scoring mark.

Shawn Long added 20 points, along with ten rebounds, while J.J. Davenport chipped in with 11 points and four rebounds.

In a losing cause for South Alabama, Ken Williams poured in 24 points, while Augustine Rubit put in 17, along with nine rebounds.

With the victory, Louisiana improved to 19-10, overall, and 10-6 in Sun Belt Conference play, while South Alabama slipped to 9-20, and 3-13, respectively.

The Cajuns return to action on Thursday, when they travel to Bowling Green, Kentucky to take on the WKU Hilltoppers.
